2025 IWBF Africa U23 Men African Championships
Libya Set to Host the 2025 IWBF Africa U23 Men African Championships! IWBF Africa is thrilled to announce that Libya will host the prestigious 2025
For the first time in the history of the Commonwealth Games, 3×3 Wheelchair Basketball will be showcased alongside 3×3 running Basketball. The CWG will be held in Birmingham in July in 2022, (the African Commonwealth qualifiers are in October 2021).
It has been confirmed by the Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) and IWBF, that as this is an exhibition event, where 6 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams will compete. The hosts will get an automatic spot, and all of the 4 IWBF zones will be allocated 1 spot each. A Bipartite spot will be decided by both the CGA and IWBF as the wild-ˇcard men and women’s team.
CGAs not affiliated with IWBF will be required to become an IWBF member before they are deemed eligible to participate.
All commonwealth countries interested in taking part must send their expression of interest form through to the
Commonwealth Games Federation by Wednesday 30 September 2020.
