With 5 days to go before the start of the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, the whole of the African will watch with anticipation as their hopes and dreams of achieving success, rest with the mens and women of the African Champions, Algeria.
Algeria’s men and women both secured their passage to Tokyo, by winning their respective finals at the 2020 IWBF Afro Paralympic Qualifiers last year year in Johannesburg, with wins against Morocco for the men and South Africa for the women.
Algeria will of course be considered underdogs going into the wheelchair basketball event at the Tokyo Paralympics, but the will feel comfortable knowing that regardless of any results in Tokyo, the entire African continent will be behind them and wishing them the greatest of success!
